Stop Looking And Start Finding

There is a great interest these days in people exploring the deeper meaning of life. The last generation has spent a lot of energy acquiring many things they thought would lead to inner peace and happiness. What has happened instead is we have a generation of stressed out people that are trying desperately to hold it all together. One need only look at the state of our health care system to realize how desperate we are to stop the treadmill.

Pick up a copy of any health or wellness publication and you will see numerous ads for courses of all kinds claiming to help people discover their true purpose in this world. When I open a copy of this kind I get nothing but confused.

It seems to me to be more of the same philosophy that has stressed everyone out. This belief that one must look outside of themselves for the answer to the age old question. “Who am I.”

I can tell you right now that you are the only one that truly knows who you are and why you are here. Your truth is part of your DNA and the answer lies within you. Is it possible for you to discover who you really are on your own? YES!

Some people need to have someone guide them and I think this originates early in life when parents over parent their children. Because the answers to everything you need to know about yourself are within you, all you need to do is start listening to your inner voice.

Our intuition is the voice of our inner knowing. Silence is what makes the voice become more distinct. Just think of how many times your intuition has guided you in your life. All this help available to us and yet we most often ignore it. The practice of meditation will create the silence that is needed for the intuition to gain it’s voice.

If you look closer at all these ads that claim they have the process that will uncover the jewel that you are, you will notice meditation is part of it. Meditation is centuries old and will bring you all that these other philosophies claim just on it’s own. Meditation can take some months of regular practice to gain benefit from it. The secret is to just do it.

So stop looking outside of yourself for we as a society have already proven that this takes us away from our center. Start finding the beauty that lies within, your true authentic nature.

It feels like coming home.

After years of personal development I had reached an awareness I would describe as self realization. Some call it enlightenement, yet to me that is just a word. I am no different from anyone else on this planet.

I achieved this not by living in a monastery away from daily life, I gained mastery over my mind, body and soul living in the real world. My life now is very different from the way I lived before.

I can see the beauty in all things and love to coach that part out of people. It is my beief that everyone has a pure core that longs to have outward expression in the world.

I live in Toronto and my intention is to shine my light fot all the world to see.

Love and light,

Glenn
